  1. DEFECTIVE SHOES Defective shoes, very, very disappointing!I've been wearing various versions of this model shoes for over a decade. Never had any problems with daily wear on my previous shoes.Purchased from Amazon, in 2 days of office wear the leather started cracking.

  2. Declining Quality These are the 3rd pair I have purchased. I bought these because they were comfortable to wear right of the box. My 1st pair lasted 18 months and I was totally happy with that. the second pair lasted about 12 months and I was okay with that, the eyelets were all coming out of the leather. The 3rd pair I got in April, comfortable to wear out of the box. after only 2 months the left shoe has splits and cracks in the leather and I will have to replace in the next couple of weeks. I've worn this shoe for YEARS and in the past they've worn like cast iron - typically I'd get 2 years out of a pair, and I wear them nearly every day.
